8 players is the maximum amount for this game.
On August 6th, 2026 at 10pm, the draft will take place. The draft is simply a RANDOM shuffling of teams and each player will be assigned FOUR teams. If there are not 8 players enrolled in the game, the teams remaining will be sitting in a POOL.
After the team assignments, players can swap teams at any time PRIOR to the next Thursday night game. Swapping out a team from the POOL has a fee of $5 per team, per swap. If you want to swap a team for another team that a player has, the player that is initiating the swap (and it's agreed upon), then the initiating player pays the $5 fee per team, per swap.
To win a week, one of your teams has to have a FINAL score of 31 points (if overtime hits, then its the final overtime score that counts). If more than one team hits 31, the prize will be split evenly between the winners.
If no team scores exactly 31 point in a week, then the pot rolls over to the next week, accummulating another weeeks worth of entry fees. Once a pot is won, then the pot resets to zero, and the entry fee's for the next week start the new pot.
If the pot hasn't been claimed after the Week 18 games, then we go to a Super Bowl pick. Each player will send me their Pick to win the game and what you think the final combined score will be. Just as in the weekly game, if the Super Bowl goes into overtime, the combined total score will be at the end of the game. If no one gets the exact score, then it will be the closest with out going over to the combined total score. If everyone is over, it will be the closest to the final score.
After each week of football, I'll send out an email announcing the winner of the pot (if there is one), or the accummulated pot going into the next week of games.
